Andrew Hancox has been in touch with Discovery Divers at Fort Bovisand, Plymouth to enquire about mid-week diving. They can offer a “Mid week special” which consists of 2 days RIB diving (4 dives) and B&B accommodation, all for £80. This can be arranged, subject to numbers (4), at anytime. Several club members dived the Scylla and the James Egan Layne at Whitsand bay on Wednesday June 25^th, enjoying a great day's diving. The diving was with Aquanauts who are based in Plymouth.

Several club members dived the M2 and Baygitano out of Lyme Regis over the weekend May 31^st - June 1^st. Weather conditions were perfect with bright sunshine and flat, calm conditions. Great diving was experienced by all those who turned up.

Andrea will be investigating booking the SETT for later in the year. Anyone interested should contact Andrea to register their interest. There is also the submarine museum and the submarine HMS Alliance that are well worth visiting, so this could a day out for all the family.

As from the first weekend in May the clubs RIBs will be operational in Lyme Regis. Diving will depend on sufficient demand and weather and sea conditions and therefore a precise schedule cannot be given here.
There will be diving to suit all levels of skill and experience. Particularly, Mark and Dave will be running diving for the less experienced and novice divers. These will be shallow dives for the benefit of OW and Junior OW divers wishing to improve their skills and get some dives in their logbooks. Shallow dives are not just for the less experienced, they offer longer bottom times and more prolific marine life, so all levels of divers can benefit. Of course there will always be the deeper and wreck dives as well. All you need to do is call the dive organisers, tell them what you want and your diving requirements will be met.
Anyone who is interested in diving at Lyme outside of the schedule below should contact either Dave Hall or Mark Horton by the Wednesday prior to the weekend to check if anything is planned. If you don't call you don't dive and your presence could be enough to make a trip viable.
