RIB and Hard boat booking procedures

To ensure fairness to all divers and the club the following rules apply when booking places on club arranged diving trips:


  • All boat places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
  • All boat places must be fully paid for in advance.
  • Boat places will not be secured until full payment has been received.
  • There will not be any refund due to cancellation or "no shows".
  • Any person wishing to cancel may transfer their place to another person. Any financial settlement will be between the two people concerned.
  • RIB place booking and payment arrangements will be decided by the boat owner.

Please note that the club has to commit to the hiring of a charter boat. If people cancel or don't turn up then the boat still has to be paid for in full. In the past any shortfall has been absorbed by those divers that did turn up and this is unfair to them. The club cannot be held responsible to make good any shortfall. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.
