General Information:
Committee Meetings will be the 2nd Tuesday each month, put your ideas forward in good time... please! See our committee here: Who Are We ?
Diving Comment: The visibility in the Channel is now pretty good and we are getting into regular weekend diving. This remains the main target of the Club of course. Call to reserve your place on a Novice or "standard" weekend. Do not be put off by the term "Novice Day" - the diving will still be good, and interesting! The photo above was taken by Claire in the area of the "Heroine" just a week ago. The Thornback Ray (yes a real RAY!) was approximately 60cm wide. We were close enough to touch it! It moved off a leisurely pace.... We had enjoyed 2 good dives with fair visibility and temperatures. Time to get the gear sorted and get to it! Call now to book a day out.
CLUB CLOTHING
We will soon offer a range of T-shirts, Poloshirts, Fleeces, and Caps with the club logo tactfully embroidered on them... Look out for offers and the chance to order soon.
We are able to offer the SCUBA experience to anyone 8 years or older... Family members especially welcome! We have decided that the Heroine is probably too difficult a "first site" for our Project in association with the Nautical Archaeology Society and "Diving with a Purpose". We are seeking a site with a maximum depth of 20m... giving about 30 minutes on site on each dive. Time to do several tasks. WATCH THIS SPACE.
