The Seahorse Dive Club welcomes safe divers of all affiliations. We are a not-for-profit club with all revenues used to support club diving and social events.

The club meets most Wednesday evenings at the Ridgeway Leisure Centre in Wroughton.
The pool and clubroom times are:

Arrive and unload kit - 19:30
Pool session - 20:00 to 22:00
Social - 20:00 to 22:00

There are 3 classes of membership:

  • Full - All adult diving members.
  • Junior - Children and student divers in primary and secondary education.
  • Student - Student divers in full-time further education at College or University.

Memberships run from 1st April to 31st March. For existing members renewing their memberships and new members joining at the beginning of the membership year the fees are:

  • Full - £85 per annum, due on 1st April.
  • Junior - £35 per annum, due on 1st April..
  • Student - £35 per annum, due on 1st April..
  • Social - £10 per annum, due on 1st April..

New members joining part way through the year pay from the beginning of the month of joining to the end of the following March on a pro-rata basis:

  • Full - £7.50 per month remaining (or part thereof).
  • Junior - £3 per month remaining (or part thereof).
  • Student - £3 per month remaining (or part thereof).

Please note that we do not have the facilities to accept monthly payments. In all cases, membership fees must be paid in advance to the end of the following membership year.

To become a member you need to do the following:

  1. Familiarise yourself with the Club rules, click here: 
  2. Complete the application form, click here: 
  3. Complete the Release form, click here: 

  4. Make out a cheque based on the above rates and payable to "The Seahorse Dive Club".

  5. Bring the above completed form(s) and cheque to a club meeting on a Wednesday evening.

Once you have become a member you will start receiving regular e-mails and Newsletters. For Diving members, we will need to arrange a photo session (or you may supply a recent photograph or JPEG image) for your membership card. You will also be issued with a membership tag which is attached to your BCD, this is a club requirement for all diving members.
