Join the Seahorse Dive Club

The Seahorse Dive Club welcomes safe divers of all affiliations. We are a not-for-profit club with all revenues used to support club diving and social events.

There are 4 classes of membership:

• Full - All adult diving members.
• Junior - Children divers in primary and secondary education.
• Student - Student divers in full-time further education at College or University.
• Social - Non-diving membership.

Memberships run from 1^st April to 31^st March.

Existing members and new members joining in April

For existing members renewing their memberships and new members joining at the beginning of the membership year the fees are:

• Full - £60 per annum, due on 1^st April. Members renewing before 1^st April - £55
• Family / couple - £100 per annum, due on 1^st April.
• Junior - £30 per annum, due on 1^st April.
• Student - £30 per annum, due on 1^st April.
• Social - £10 per annum, due on 1^st April.

New members joining part way through the year

New members joining part way through the year are charged from the beginning of the month of joining to the end of the following March on a pro-rata basis. The fees are:

• Full - £5 per month remaining (or part thereof).
• Family / couple - £8.50 per month remaining (or part thereof).
• Junior - £2.50 per month remaining (or part thereof).
• Student - £2.50 per month remaining (or part thereof).
• Social - £10 for the remainder of the year.

Please note that we do not have the facilities to accept monthly payments. In all cases membership fees must be paid in advance to the end of the following membership year.

To become a member you need to do the following:

1. Familiarise yourself with the Club rules, click here: 
2. Complete the Application form, click here: 
3. Complete the Release form (not required for social membership), click here: 
4. Make out a cheque based on the above rates and payable to "The Seahorse Dive Club".
5. Bring the above completed form(s), your diving certificate, log book and cheque to a club meeting on a Wednesday evening.

Once you have become a member you will start receiving regular e-mails about club activities and diving trips. For Diving members we will need to arrange a photo session (or you may supply a recent photograph or JPEG image) for your membership card. You will also be issued with a membership tag which is attached to your BCD, this is a club requirement for all diving members.
