Stoney Cove Christmas dive 2006

Below is the club photograph taken at the Christmas dives and Dinner at Stoney Cove on 13th of December.

18 attended the Christmas dive at Stoney Cove, all meeting up at Stoney. Those present were: Mark, Derek, John P, Claire, Tony, Suzie Luke and Mark Shipway, Graham and Lesley, Malcolm and Paul C, Dave and Leanne, Pete, Ian and Mike.

With the water temp at 6 degrees some did 2 dives including Mike Scott, who took great pleasure in calling Mark a wimp for only doing one, was joined by the hard core divers who did two like Tony, and Ian R. Mark must have been off form or have his mind on other things because he took the abuse without too much return blag.

The pudding issue will give great debates for some time, Tony was the only one to have cheese and this was a meal in itself. He thinks the deli counter at the local Tescos was on his plate and he needed help from Pete Dunn to get through it.

Pete was showing off his candid camera pictures of speeding in Devizes towing his caravan behind the Landrover, another 3 points and £60. The meal was great and all present said Stoney had put on a good spread, many thanks to the staff at Nemos.

The journey home showed the day had taken its toll on some in the van and the sound of snoring was heard on the Fosse Way. Another year completed for Sea Horse Dive Club.

P.S. I hope John P was not allowed any pudding as he didn't dive.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year, let's hope for great diving in 2007.
